Senior Qa Specialist (web Automation)

JOB SUMMARY:

 

A QA Specialist is responsible for quality assurance audits and ensures the product integrity and that standards are being met. Knows how to troubleshoot systems to ensure reliability, usability and performance.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Perform quality assurance efforts on multiple application releases, monitor and document testing activities.

-Manage testing for application deployments and assign testing activities to team.

-Design, develop and maintain test cases and strategies for cross-browser testing and multiple user scenarios.

-Satisfy release deliverable, project testing requirements and other quality assurance responsibilities.

-Collaborate with team to understand product changes and QA testing requirements to deal with issues/defects in a timely manner.

-Establish a testing feedback loop with other developers and team members.

-Create written documentation and procedures for application testing and compliance.

-Debug test environment, automate sprints, and develop testing scenarios.

-Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing

-Identify any potential problems that users might encounter

-Perform manual and automated testing

-Research and analyze product features being tested

-Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes

-Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality

 

 

Job REQUIREMENTS

 

-At least 5+ years of working experience in the related field is required for this position and must have automation testing experience

-Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test scripts

-Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs

-Collaborate with the team to solve problems and produce innovative solutions

-API Testing is required

-Passion for both service and technology

-Bachelor’s degree in the related field

-Certification, such as Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, Six Sigma, or Quality Improvement Associate, is a plus

Relevant long-term experience, knowledge of regulatory requirements

-Knack for implementation of corrective action programs

-Experience with performance and/or security testing is required

-Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

-Strong knowledge of QA terms, tools, and methodologies

 

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

-1-2+ years of experience as web application tester or software tester

-1-2+ years of PHP development experience

-Working knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON

-Knowledge of any SQL scripting

-API Testing

-Experience in XSS, SQL Injection and other security testing

-Knowledge with Selenium or any automation tool
